Professional live-streaming camera

The BG-ADAMO-4KDA25X-W is an 8MP PTZ network camera built for broadcast, house-of-worship and corporate AV teams that need simultaneous IP, SDI, HDMI and USB outputs. It delivers 4K UHD at up to 60 Hz from a 1/1.8 inch Sony CMOS sensor with 25x optical zoom and integrated tally lights.

Bandwidth and cabling limits

IP streaming uses RTSP, RTMP, SRT, ONVIF and GB/T28181 over a single PoE Ethernet link, so power, control and video share one category cable. 12G-SDI carries 4K 60 Hz over long coax runs without compression, while HDMI 2.0 covers shorter local connections. USB 2.0 and 3.0 paths add direct PC ingest for conferencing or recording.

Upgrade from fixed webcams or basic PTZ units

This model replaces static wide-angle cameras and entry-level pan-tilt heads that lack optical zoom, multi-protocol streaming or tally indication. The jump is worth it when productions need 255 programmable presets, 25x lossless zoom, Dante AV-H audio routing and MicroSD recording up to 1 TB for redundancy.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 25x optical zoom model or the 12x version for a larger auditorium?

The 25x optical zoom lens provides tighter framing from a distance, making it the better choice for larger spaces where the camera must be mounted far from the subject.

What does the 4K@60Hz headline mean when I connect this camera to a live production switcher?

You can output 3840×2160 at 60 frames per second over 12G-SDI or HDMI 2.0, giving a full-motion 4K signal suitable for broadcast-grade switching and recording.

Which video interface caps the resolution and frame rate in practice — HDMI, 12G-SDI or IP streaming?

Both HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI support the full 4K@60Hz spec; IP streaming uses RTSP, RTMP, SRT or Dante AV-H and will be limited by available network bandwidth and encoder settings.
