Compact 1080p PTZ for Broadcast & Education

The BG-B20SHA is a 2-megapixel network camera built around a 1/2.8-inch Exmor CMOS sensor. It streams 1080p at 60, 50, 30 or 25 frames per second and adds 20X optical zoom with 12X digital zoom for tight framing in lecture halls, studios or worship spaces.

Single-Cable Power & Multi-Output Flexibility

PoE supplies both power and data over one CAT cable, while 3G-SDI and HDMI feed local switchers or recorders simultaneously. The 3.5 mm audio input embeds external sound into every stream, and ONVIF, PELCO-D, PELCO-P and VISCA support lets existing control systems drive pan, tilt and zoom without new wiring.

Step Up from Fixed Webcams or USB PTZ Units

The optical zoom and tri-synchronous outputs replace static wide-angle cameras that cannot punch in on a speaker. The jump is worth it when productions need simultaneous IP streaming for remote viewers plus SDI or HDMI feeds for in-room displays and recording.

Questions about this item

How much power does the BG-B20SHA draw during continuous streaming?

The camera is rated at 12W with a 12V DC 1A supply and also supports PoE for single-cable power.

What operating noise or heat output should I expect when the camera runs all day?

The unit is passively cooled in a compact 70mm x 70mm x 122mm housing with no fan listed, so it runs silently.

Which cables and network gear must I already have to get video out of this camera?

You need a CAT cable for PoE and IP streaming, plus HDMI or 3G-SDI cables if you want those simultaneous outputs.
