Professional Box Camera

The BZBGEAR BG-B20SHAN is a compact box-style network camera built for broadcast and professional A/V installations. It uses a 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor with 2.38 megapixels to deliver Full HD video at frame rates up to 1080p60. The unit supports simultaneous 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP streaming outputs for flexible integration.

NDI|HX and Audio Integration

A single CAT 5e/6/7 cable handles power, video streaming, and control via the NDI|HX protocol, reducing cabling complexity in studio or lecture-hall deployments. The 3.5 mm audio input allows an external microphone or line-level source to be embedded directly into the live stream or recording without a separate mixer.

Suited for Fixed Installations

This camera suits operators who need a stationary PTZ-style optic with 20x optical and 12x digital zoom for lecture capture, studio production, or room monitoring. Buyers requiring pan-tilt movement, higher than 1080p resolution, or wireless connectivity should evaluate alternative form factors.

Questions about this item

How often should the 3.5 mm audio input jack be inspected for wear?

The 3.5 mm audio input is a passive connector with no moving parts, so it does not require scheduled inspection or replacement under normal use.

What limits continuous 1080p60 streaming over IP?

Sustained 1080p60 IP streaming is constrained by network bandwidth and switch capacity; the camera itself outputs the stream continuously at that frame rate.

How much heat does the camera produce when running all day?

The compact 70 x 70 x 122 mm housing dissipates heat passively with no fan, so surface temperature stays low during continuous operation.
