Compact 30X zoom IP camera

The BG-B30SHA is a compact box camera built for professional streaming and monitoring. It houses a 1/2.8” Exmor CMOS sensor delivering 2.38 megapixels at up to 1080p60. Simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI and IP outputs let it feed recorders, switchers and networks at once.

Replaces fixed-lens IP cameras

This model upgrades installations that relied on static wide-angle lenses by adding 30X optical and 12X digital zoom for tight framing from a distance. The jump is worth it when operators need live camera control over PTZ presets or variable focal lengths during events, lectures or studio shoots.

Suits broadcast and A/V integrators

Ideal for users who require PoE-powered simplicity, embedded 3.5 mm audio and multi-protocol control via ONVIF, VISCA or Pelco. Buyers needing 4K resolution, built-in microphones or wireless connectivity should look at other models.

Questions about this item

What are the physical dimensions and weight of the BG-B30SHA camera?

The camera measures 70mm x 70mm x 122mm and weighs .2kg, fitting compact mounting locations.

How is the BG-B30SHA powered and what is the common wiring mistake?

It accepts DC12V at 1A or PoE via a single CAT cable; the common mistake is connecting both power sources simultaneously.

When should the 3.5mm audio input or CMOS sensor be checked or replaced?

Inspect the 3.5mm audio jack if embedded sound drops; the 1/2.8” Exmor CMOS sensor is fixed and not user-replaceable.
