A 15 ft 16 AWG grounded extension cord rated 13A at 125V for indoor computer and appliance use
This 15 ft extension cord adds reach between a wall outlet, power strip or surge protector and any device that uses a standard three-prong plug. The male 5-15P plug connects to the power source while the female 5-15R receptacle accepts your existing equipment cord. It is built for indoor use in offices, labs, workshops and homes.
The 16 AWG construction supports up to 13 A at 125 V, making it appropriate for desktop computers, monitors, printers and typical shop equipment. Buyers who need to run higher-draw servers, PDUs or 20 A appliances should look at thicker 14 AWG or 12 AWG cords instead. This cord is not rated for wet or outdoor locations.
The SJT-jacketed, three-conductor copper cable carries a continuous 13 A at 125 V with full grounding and molded strain relief. It comfortably powers standard workstations and peripherals but reaches its limit at 13 A, so heavier 15 A or 20 A loads require a larger wire gauge. The cord is UL Listed and CSA certified (file E210037).

Yes, the 16 AWG SJT cable is rated 13 A at 125 V and carries UL and CSA certification file E210037, so it matches a typical computer power supply draw.
The cord is rated 13 A, so it will not exceed a 15 A strip's capacity; the strip's breaker remains the limiting factor for total connected load.
Measure voltage at the female 5-15R receptacle with a multimeter while the load is running; a reading near 125 V indicates the extension is performing correctly.
