It can carry 10G traffic over short runs, but 10G performance is not guaranteed at 20ft. Backward compatibility with Cat5e makes it a drop-in upgrade for existing drops. For permanent 10G infrastructure at this distance, a higher category cable is required.

Unshielded UTP Construction
