This 25-foot Cat6a Ethernet cable uses a 4.0mm jacket instead of the usual 6.9mm diameter, making it purpose-built for high-density patch panels, server racks and data center cabinets. The slim profile saves space, improves airflow and keeps tight bend radii manageable behind dense equipment. It is a new, unshielded UTP cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends.

500MHz Cat6a standard limits

The cable meets the Cat6a standard at 500MHz and supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 meters. It is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e hardware for a drop-in upgrade without changing existing equipment. As an unshielded 28AWG design, it is not intended for environments that require shielded cabling or heavier gauge conductors for mechanical protection.

10 Gigabit capacity with 28AWG headroom

Four twisted pairs of bare copper with 50-micron gold-plated contacts deliver reliable 10 Gigabit signal integrity and reduced crosstalk. The 28AWG gauge handles standard PoE devices, switches, routers, servers and NAS units comfortably. It runs out of headroom where shielded cable is mandated, where longer runs exceed the 100-meter channel limit or where a thicker jacket is required for physical durability.
