Ultra-slim Cat6a patch cable

This 1-foot Cat6a patch cable uses a 4.0 mm jacket and 28 AWG bare copper conductors to deliver a 10 Gigabit Ethernet link in tight spaces. It is built for installers and network managers who need high-density cabling in patch panels, server racks or data-centre cabinets without sacrificing the Cat6a 500 MHz rating.

Snagless boot and gold contacts

The transparent slim snagless boot protects the locking clip during frequent routing and re-patching, keeping dense bundles tidy. Fifty-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts on both ends provide low-resistance, corrosion-resistant connections that maintain signal integrity across moves, adds and changes.

Distance and density limits

Cat6a supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 metres at 500 MHz, so this 1-foot length is suited only for short intra-rack or patch-panel links. The unshielded UTP construction and 28 AWG gauge limit noise immunity in electrically noisy environments, and the slim 4.0 mm diameter cannot replace standard 6.9 mm cords where mechanical ruggedness or PoE current capacity beyond the cable rating are required.
