A 1.5 ft IEC C14 to C13 extension cord with 16 AWG copper, 13 A / 250 V rating, SJT jacket, UL listed and CSA certified for rack PDU or UPS connections
This 1.5ft IEC 60320 C14 to C13 cord adds reach between a rack PDU, UPS or server and your existing power cable. The black SJT jacket helps trace circuits and phases at a glance. It is built with 16 AWG three-conductor copper rated for 13A at 250V and carries a 105C / 300V cable rating. UL Listed and CSA certified (file E210037) with RoHS compliance.
Replaces a short factory cord or an 18 AWG lead that only handles 10A when the load needs 13A. The jump is worth it when the equipment draws more than 10A or when the PDU outlet sits beyond the reach of the original cable. It is not for buyers who need a heavier 14 AWG or 12 AWG gauge for 15A or 20A circuits.
The 16 AWG conductors and 105C temperature rating are designed for continuous server, rack and data-center loads rather than brief peaks. The SJT jacket and grounded three-conductor construction maintain stable current delivery at 13A / 250V. It is not for installations that exceed the 13A rating or require a higher ampacity cable.

The cord is 1.5ft long with a male IEC 60320 C14 plug on one end and a female C13 socket on the other, adding reach between a PDU, UPS or server and your existing cord.
Insert the male C14 plug fully into the PDU or UPS outlet until it seats firmly, then plug your device's C13 connector into the female end; the common error is leaving either end partially seated, which can cause intermittent power.
Replace the cord if the SJT jacket shows cuts, cracking from 105C heat exposure, deformed pins, or discoloration at the connectors; the 16 AWG copper conductors and UL/CSA certification (file E210037) support long service, but physical damage requires immediate replacement.
