Right-angle SATA III cable pack

This three-pack supplies 18-inch SATA III cables with 90-degree connectors and locking latches. They link motherboards or host controllers to internal hard drives, SSDs or optical drives at up to 6 Gb/s. The right-angle design helps routing in tight chassis and the red jacket aids cable identification.

Check connector orientation and clearance

Verify that your drive and motherboard ports accept a 90-degree male-to-female SATA plug without blocking adjacent slots. The 18-inch length suits most mid-tower layouts but measure the routing path from port to drive bay before ordering. Ensure the locking latch can engage fully on both ends.

Sustained throughput on mechanical

Copper conductors maintain the full 6 Gb/s link during long sequential transfers such as OS imaging, RAID rebuilds or large backup jobs. The flexible jacket resists kinking under continuous vibration, keeping signal integrity stable over extended sessions. Locking latches prevent intermittent disconnects when the case is moved.

Questions about this item

What connectors and accessories come in the 3-pack, and do I need to buy power cables separately?

The pack contains three 18-inch 7-pin SATA data cables with 90-degree locking latches and three reusable cable ties. Power cables for drives are not included and must be sourced from your power supply or purchased separately.

Should I choose the 18-inch red cables or a different length and colour for my build?

This model 104008-18x3 is only offered in 18-inch red. Other Cable Matters right-angle SATA cables exist in 24-inch black (model 104007) if you need longer runs or a different colour.

Will the 6Gbps rating deliver full SSD speed once installed in my PC?

The cables are built to the SATA III 6Gbps specification, so they will not bottleneck any SATA SSD or HDD. Actual throughput depends on the drive and motherboard controller, not the cable itself.
