Classic ModMesh Extension Kit

The CableMod Classic ModMesh kit adds two 8-pin PCI-e extension cables to an existing power supply. Builders who want a cleaner internal look without replacing the original wiring will find the white sleeving a simple visual upgrade.

Bundled Combs and Sleeving

Black cable combs are included to align the eight conductors on each extension, keeping the white ModMesh sleeving straight and tidy. The combs and vibrant sleeving together turn a tangle of stock wires into a uniform, colour-coordinated loom.

Build Quality and Daily Fit

Premium materials and careful construction give the extensions excellent durability for repeated handling during upgrades. Because they plug into the power supply's native cables, no extra connectors or adapters are introduced, so the kit suits cases with standard clearance but cannot replace a short or missing PSU lead.

Questions about this item

Will the ModMesh sleeving or the black cable combs need replacement after prolonged use inside the case?

The ModMesh sleeving is built for excellent durability and the included black cable combs are designed to last the life of the build without requiring replacement.

What is the first limit encountered when running two 8-pin PCI-e extensions continuously under heavy GPU load?

The extensions are rated for standard 8-pin PCI-e power delivery, so the first limit is the power supply's own output capacity rather than the cables themselves.

Do the white ModMesh extensions add noticeable heat or electrical resistance when the system runs all day?

The premium materials keep resistance negligible, so the cables do not generate measurable extra heat during continuous operation.
