It converts the signal to optical RCA and 3.5mm outputs simultaneously. Optical carries Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 while RCA and 3.5mm provide 2.0 stereo. Aluminium housing weighs .2 kilograms and measures 2.99x1.77x.63inch. Package includes a 3.3ft optical cable HDMI cable and power cable for quick plug and play setup.

Ideal for Home Theatre Upgrades

Suits owners of modern TVs who want to keep existing sound systems without replacing them. Works with all TVs supporting eARC or ARC and connects to a wide range of audio equipment. Not for buyers who need HDMI pass through for video or who require multichannel output on RCA or 3.5mm ports. Also not for setups that rely on wireless audio transmission or Bluetooth connectivity.

Simultaneous Multi Output

Optical RCA and 3.5mm ports all operate at the same time letting you feed a surround receiver and a stereo headphone amp together. Optical supports 5.1 surround formats while analogue outputs stay at 2.0 channels. This single specification decides whether the extractor matches your audio distribution needs.

Questions about this item

What space is needed for the 2.99x1.77x0.63inch extractor?

The unit measures 2.99 by 1.77 by 0.63 inches, so allow that footprint plus cable bend radius behind the TV or inside the cabinet.

Which step in the three-step setup is most often missed?

Enabling CEC in the TV settings after connecting the extractor to the ARC port; without it the audio signal will not pass through.

When should the included 3.3ft optical cable be replaced?

Replace it if the Toslink tips are cracked, the jacket is kinked, or the red light at either end becomes dim or disappears.
