Audio Adapter for TV to Soundbar

This audio adapter converts the eARC or ARC channel from a television into optical or coaxial digital output. It is designed for owners of soundbars, amplifiers or older receivers that lack an HDMI ARC input. The unit accepts PCM 2.0 stereo signals at up to 24-bit and 192 kHz sampling rates.

Cable Mount Design with USB Power

The converter uses a cable mount form factor housed in plastic measuring 59 in length and 2 in width. It draws 5 V DC from a television USB port or a separate power adapter. A red indicator shows power status while a green indicator confirms an active ARC signal from the TV.

Check TV Settings Before Ordering

The television must support CEC control and allow its audio output to be set to the ARC device with the format fixed to PCM 2CH. Surround formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS are not passed through. Verify your TV menu offers these three settings before purchasing.
