Canon PFI-106 Matte Black Cartridge

The Canon PFI-106 is a genuine 130 ml pigment ink tank in Matte Black. It is built for owners of Canon imagePROGRAF large-format printers who need consistent, archival-quality output. The single cartridge design suits professional graphics, fine art and technical document workflows.

Compatible imagePROGRAF models

This cartridge works with the iPF6300, iPF6300S, iPF6350, iPF6400, iPF6400S, iPF6450 and iPF6540 series. It is the only spec that decides fitment; printers outside this list cannot use the PFI-106 tank. Buyers with other wide-format or desktop models must choose a different cartridge.

Pigment ink stability in use

LUCIA pigment formulation resists smudging and clogging during normal printing sessions. The ink delivers sharp detail and deep blacks on a variety of media without excess maintenance cycles. Users who need dye-based inks or higher-volume bulk systems will not be served by this single 130 ml tank.

Questions about this item

How many prints can I expect from the 130 ml Matte Black tank in my iPF6400?

At five percent coverage the 130 ml cartridge yields roughly one thousand three hundred A2 prints on the iPF6400.

Does the PFI-106 use a proprietary chip or a standard interface that limits third-party refills?

The cartridge communicates through Canon's proprietary chip interface; refillable alternatives must replicate that handshake to be recognised.

Will this tank fit the iPF6350 without any bracket changes?

Yes, the PFI-106 slots directly into the iPF6350 ink bay — no adapter or bracket modification required.
