Scans 35 mm, 110 and 126 film plus 50 mm slides at up to 22 MP interpolated resolution with a 5" preview screen and 32 GB SD card included
The ClearClick Virtuoso 2.0 is a standalone film and slide scanner designed for users who want to digitise physical archives without a computer. It accepts 35mm, 110, and 126 negatives plus 50mm slides, capturing images directly to an SD card at up to 22 megapixels interpolated resolution. A built-in 5-inch LCD provides a live preview so you can frame each frame before saving.
This second-generation Virtuoso replaces slower flatbed workflows and earlier single-format scanners by adding a large preview screen and support for 110 and 126 film strips alongside standard 35mm. The jump is worth it when you have mixed-format boxes of slides and negatives and need a single device that handles them all without driver installation or PC tethering. Automatic colour and brightness settings speed up batch sessions, while manual controls remain available for tricky exposures.
Scans write only to SD cards of 32 GB capacity or smaller, so larger cards cannot be used for direct storage. The mini HDMI port lets you view the live feed or playback on a television, though the required cable is not supplied. Optical resolution tops out at 14 megapixels, with the 22 megapixel figure achieved through interpolation, which may limit detail for very large prints.
