Screw terminals replace tape and crimps

The connector is specified for a maximum continuous current of 20 A across the full 1 V to 38 V operating range, so the single deciding figure is whether the camera circuit stays within that current limit. Exceeding 20 A will overheat the terminals regardless of voltage, and the adapter cannot be used on mains-voltage or higher-current DC distribution. No other specification in the data sheet overrides this ampacity ceiling.
