This JacobsParts UB2DC-B adapter converts a 5.5x2.1mm female barrel jack into a Micro-USB B male plug. It lets you use an existing 5V centre-positive power supply to charge or run Micro-USB devices. The compact black connector provides a simple 1:1 pass-through with no active electronics.

Fixed 5V output voltage

The adapter only passes the supply voltage directly to the Micro-USB port, so the connected barrel adapter must deliver exactly 5V. Using a higher-voltage supply will damage the attached device because there is no regulation or conversion inside the unit.

No added heat or noise

The passive design draws no power of its own and generates no audible noise. Thermals depend entirely on the external 5V power adapter, while the connector itself remains cool during normal charging or low-power device operation.
