Purpose and Audience
The CyberPower PR1500LCDN is a 1500 VA and 1500 W line-interactive UPS that delivers pure sine-wave output for Active PFC power supplies. It targets administrators protecting corporate servers, storage arrays, network gear or telecom equipment that require clean power during utility interruptions.
Build Integration
The unit ships in a mini-tower chassis with a 6 ft NEMA 5-15P input cord and eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles. A pre-installed RMCARD205 SNMP card enables remote monitoring through a browser or NMS, while USB, serial and EPO ports provide local management and emergency shutdown integration via PowerPanel Business Edition software.
Sustained Load Behaviour
Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects minor fluctuations without battery use, preserving runtime for genuine outages. At half load the battery sustains output for 24 minutes; at full load the reserve lasts 8 minutes. Recharge completes in 3 hours using Quick Charge mode or 8 hours in Eco mode, and the sealed lead-acid pack is user-replaceable with part RB12170X2A.

Questions about this item
How long will the battery run my equipment if the UPS is loaded to 1500 W?
At full 1500 W load the battery provides 8 minutes of runtime.
What noise or heat should I expect when the unit runs continuously?
The line-interactive topology with AVR corrects minor fluctuations without using the battery, keeping fan activity and heat low during normal operation.
What network connection must I already have to use the pre-installed remote management card?
A standard Ethernet drop is required for the RMCARD205 to communicate with a browser or NMS.
