Cable Length & Connector Angle

This 30 cm SATA 3.0 data cable links a straight 180° plug to a right-angle 90° plug, both equipped with locking latches. The green UV-reactive sleeving is intended for builders who want a visible accent inside a windowed chassis. It carries the standard SATA 3.0 signal specification for drives and host adapters.

Modders Wanting Colour & Tight Routing

The short length and mixed-angle ends suit compact cases where a straight-to-straight cable would kink or block adjacent slots. The UV-green sleeve glows under black light for themed builds. Installers who need a longer reach, a different colour, or an eSATA external connection will not be served by this specific cable.

30 cm Length Decides Fit

At exactly 30 cm the cable only spans short distances between a motherboard port and a nearby drive bay or backplane. Measure the routing path before ordering; if the run exceeds this length you must select a different cable.

Questions about this item

Will the SATA 3.0 rating still give 6 Gb/s once this cable is routed inside a case?

Yes — the cable is built to the SATA 3.0 specification, so it supports the full 6 Gb/s transfer rate when connected to a SATA 3.0 port and drive.

Does the 180° to 90° connector layout limit the cable to SATA 3.0 speeds or can it handle faster interfaces?

The connectors follow the SATA 3.0 standard; they do not support newer interfaces such as SATA Express or U.2.

What clearance do I need behind the drive for the 90° connector to sit flat?

The right-angle plug adds roughly 12 mm of depth behind the drive connector, so allow at least that much space between the drive and the case wall.
