Adds a Gigabit Ethernet port to any USB-C device with built-in driver and PXE boot support
The Dell 470-ABND adds a wired network port to any device that has a USB-C socket. It is aimed at laptop, tablet or desktop users who need a stable Gigabit link without opening the chassis or installing an internal card.
The adapter negotiates up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds, but actual throughput is limited by the host USB-C controller and its protocol implementation. Cable length is 5 in, so the dongle sits close to the port and cannot reach distant wall outlets without an additional patch cable.
Verify that the USB-C port on your system supports data and is not power-only. Confirm the BIOS or UEFI can boot from a USB Ethernet device if PXE network boot is required. No driver installation is needed on modern operating systems.

The single model 470-ABND provides Gigabit link speed and enables PXE boot on devices that lack on-board Ethernet but have a USB-C port.
It supports up to Gigabit Ethernet data rates, so the connection can handle faster streaming and general network traffic at that ceiling.
It uses a USB-C male connector on one end and an RJ-45 female port on the other, with the Gigabit Ethernet specification setting the practical throughput limit.
