15.6" FHD Touchscreen with 32GB DDR4

The Dell Inspiron 15 3520 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1155G7 quad-core processor. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on this new device.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The touchscreen and 32GB of memory suit office workers, students and light creative users who want responsive multitasking and direct screen interaction. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming or rendering should look elsewhere. Anyone requiring more than 256GB of internal storage or a higher brightness panel will need a different model.

The single specification that decides fit

The 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory is the deciding specification because the system maximum is 32GB and cannot be upgraded later. Confirm that this capacity meets your workload before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Can the 32GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later if I need more?

The laptop supports a maximum of 32GB DDR4 3200 memory, so the installed 32GB already reaches that limit and cannot be expanded further.

What limits performance first when the i5-1155G7 runs at its 4.5GHz boost for long periods?

The 41WHr 3-cell battery and integrated Intel UHD graphics share the thermal budget, so sustained 4.5GHz operation is constrained by cooling capacity and power delivery.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the touchscreen and CPU run all day?

The 15.6-inch 220-nit LED panel and quad-core processor draw power through the 41WHr battery; fan noise and surface temperature rise noticeably under continuous load.
