Core configuration

The Dell Inspiron 15 3520 ships with an 11th Generation Intel Core i5-1155G7 quad-core processor running at 2.5 GHz up to 4.5 GHz, 16 GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. It suits office workers and students who need a responsive 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen for daily productivity.

Display and connectivity

The 15.6 inch LED panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 220 nits with touch input. Intel UHD Graphics drives the screen and the HDMI 1.4 output. Wireless uses 802_11_AC and Bluetooth 5.1. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0, a headphone/microphone combo jack and a micro SD card reader. A 720p webcam and stereo speakers complete the bundle.

Installation notes

The laptop arrives ready to use; the only hardware upgrades possible are memory up to 32 GB and the M.2 SSD slot. Opening the chassis requires removing Torx screws and prying clips, which can damage the palm rest if forced. Driver updates for the touchscreen and wireless occasionally stall on first boot, so run Windows Update before deploying.

Questions about this item

Can the 16 GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The laptop supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 3200 memory, so the installed 16 GB can be increased by adding or replacing modules.

What limits performance first during sustained heavy workloads?

The Intel UHD Graphics integrated into the i5-1155G7 and the 41 WHr battery are the first constraints under continuous load.

How loud and hot does the 15.6 inch touchscreen model get when running all day?

The 220 nit LED display and passive cooling on the UHD graphics keep fan noise modest, while the 41 WHr battery limits unplugged runtime under full load.
