15.6" FHD Touch Business Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 15 3520 is a new 15.6-inch Windows 11 Pro laptop with a Full HD touchscreen. It runs on an 11th Generation Intel Core i5-1155G7 quad-core processor reaching 4.5 GHz, supported by 16 GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 256 GB PCIe SSD. The chassis weighs 3.65 lb and measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inches.

Suited For Daily Productivity Not For Heavy GPU Work

This configuration suits professionals and students who need a responsive touch display, a numeric keypad and Windows 11 Pro for office applications, video calls and web-based workflows. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering, modern gaming or GPU-accelerated compute should look at a different system.

16 GB DDR4 3200 Memory Decides Upgrade Path

The laptop ships with 16 GB of DDR4 3200 RAM and supports a maximum of 32 GB. If your workload regularly exceeds 16 GB, you must plan a memory upgrade at purchase; otherwise the installed capacity is fixed for the device's service life.

Questions about this item

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interface cap at in practice?

The two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports each top out at 5 Gbps, so external SSDs or docks will not exceed that throughput.

What are the chassis dimensions for checking bag or sleeve fit?

The laptop measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inches and weighs 3.65 lbs, so any 15.6" sleeve rated for at least those dimensions will fit.

How do I add more memory, and which slot do people forget to populate first?

Open the base cover, insert a DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM into the single free slot — the 16 GB factory module already occupies the other slot — then reseat the cover and boot.
