Dell Inspiron 15 3530 Touchscreen Laptop

This 15.6 inch laptop combines a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD. The Full HD touchscreen and integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics suit everyday productivity, media streaming and light creative work. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Installation and common issues

The system arrives with the original seal opened only for the advertised memory and storage upgrades, so no further hardware installation is required. Driver updates for the Iris Xe graphics and Wi-Fi 6 adapter should be run after first boot to ensure full feature support. Some users report that the single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port does not carry video, so an HDMI 1.4 cable is needed for external displays.

Practical limits of Wi-Fi 6 and integrated graphics

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) delivers higher throughput and lower latency than older standards, but real-world speed still depends on router capability, channel congestion and distance from the access point. Intel Iris Xe Graphics shares system memory, so heavy 3D workloads or multiple 4K streams will hit the 32GB RAM ceiling and thermal limits of the thin chassis. The HDMI 1.4 port caps external output at 4K 30Hz, ruling out high-refresh-rate monitors.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-1355U processor is running at its 5.0 GHz maximum turbo speed after setup?

Open Windows Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU, and watch the live frequency readout while a heavy workload runs; it should climb toward 5.0 GHz when thermals allow.

What ports and accessories are included in the box versus what I must buy separately?

The laptop ships with its power adapter and a 15.6" FHD touchscreen display, 32 GB DDR4 memory, 1 TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe graphics, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 1080p webcam, SD card reader, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and a headset jack; any USB-C hub, external monitor cable or carrying case is extra.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR4 and 1 TB SSD configuration or look for a 64 GB and 2 TB version?

This unit already has 32 GB DDR4 and a 1 TB SSD installed; the platform supports up to 64 GB DDR4 and 2 TB SSD if you anticipate heavier multitasking or larger local libraries, otherwise the fitted specification is ready to use.
