Built for harsh environments

The Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered with specialised materials and a chassis tested to military-grade standards. It is designed for field workers who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and moisture. Office-based users who never leave a desk gain no advantage from the extra reinforcement.

Quad-core i5-8350U with 32 GB DDR4

The processor runs at speeds up to 3.60 GHz and includes 6 MB cache, paired with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD. This combination handles typical business workloads and multi-tab browsing. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering or modern gaming should look elsewhere.

Touchscreen usable with gloves plus legacy ports

The 1920 x 1080 FHD panel supports 10-point touch input that works even when the operator wears protective gloves. Connectivity includes USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 for industrial equipment. Users who rely solely on modern USB-C docking may find the legacy ports unnecessary.
