Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered to withstand tough conditions with specialized chassis construction and rigorous component testing. It targets field workers, outdoor professionals and anyone who needs a device that survives dust, vibration and temperature extremes without failing.

Straightforward deployment

The unit arrives with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed and a Dell OEM charger included, so it is ready to use after unboxing. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 and 8 GB DDR4 memory handle typical business workloads without driver hassles, while the non-touch FHD screen avoids calibration issues that touch panels can introduce in gloved or wet conditions.

Connectivity and display limits

The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display offers high brightness for direct sunlight viewing but lacks touch input. Available ports include USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 for wired networks. Wireless options cover Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; optional LTE 4G and dedicated GPS may not be present on every unit. Battery life is extended with internal 6- and 9-cell packs and supports optional hot-swap bridge batteries for full-shift operation away from power outlets.
