Built for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0 inch business ultrabook running Windows 10 Pro. It targets professionals who need a durable, portable machine for daily office applications, email and web-based workflows. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles standard productivity tasks and external displays. It is not suited for buyers who want discrete graphics performance for creative rendering or gaming.

Quad-core i5-8350U with 32 GB DDR4

The decisive specification is the 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor paired with 32 GB of DDR4 memory. This combination delivers responsive multitasking across browser tabs, Office suites and virtual meetings. The CPU runs at a base frequency of 1.7 GHz with a maximum turbo of 3.60 GHz. Buyers who need higher sustained clock speeds for compile workloads or video encoding should look elsewhere.

Simple SSD access, watch the SIM tray

The chassis provides straightforward access to the M.2 slot and the secondary drive bay for storage upgrades or replacements. A standard Phillips screwdriver is sufficient for the bottom cover. The optional external SIM tray is easily overlooked during reassembly; ensure the tray seats flush or mobile data will not function. The USB Type-C port supports DisplayPort alternate mode for docking.
