14.0" FHD Touchscreen Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a business-class ultrabook built around a 14.0" Full HD IPS touchscreen. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory. Primary storage is a 128 GB M.2 SSD paired with a 2 TB secondary solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles display output.

Professionals needing dual SSD storage

This configuration suits mobile workers who want a responsive touchscreen and the capacity of a 2 TB secondary SSD alongside a fast boot drive. The quad-core CPU and 8 GB of RAM cover mainstream office multitasking and video conferencing. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance or a user-upgradeable memory ceiling beyond the installed 8 GB should consider a different platform.

128 GB M.2 plus 2 TB dual SSD storage

The defining specification is the dual-drive layout: a 128 GB M.2 primary SSD combined with a 2 TB secondary solid-state drive. This arrangement delivers both quick system responsiveness and a large local data volume in a single chassis. If your workflow depends on a single larger primary SSD or on expandable RAM slots, this storage topology will not match those requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the Dell Latitude 5590's USB 3.1 Gen1 ports and HDMI output work with my older USB 3.0 peripherals and 1080p monitor?

Yes, the three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports are backward compatible with USB 3.0 devices, and the HDMI port supports 1920 x 1080 resolution for your existing monitor.

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-8350U and Intel UHD Graphics 620 are performing correctly after installing Windows 11 Pro?

Open Task Manager to confirm the quad-core processor shows four cores and eight threads, and check Device Manager to verify the Intel UHD Graphics 620 driver is active without errors.

Does the box include a power adapter for the 15.6-inch touchscreen model, and do I need to buy an SD card separately?

The laptop ships with a power adapter; the SD card slot is empty, so you must purchase an SD card separately if you need removable storage.
