Business-ready 14-inch laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch Windows 11 Pro notebook powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 16GB of DDR4 2400 memory and a 512GB M.2 2280 SATA solid-state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives the 1920 x 1080 anti-glare display, and connectivity includes Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 8265 Wi-Fi with Bluetooth. A backlit dual-pointing keyboard, 720p webcam and 65W AC adapter complete the package.

Suited to mobile professionals, not gamers

This ultraportable serves business users who need a lightweight 1.4 kg chassis, all-day battery from the 60Wh 4-cell pack and Dell in-home service coverage. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or creative rendering, a touchscreen interface or an optical drive should look elsewhere.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 8MB cache

The processor runs at a 1.90 GHz base frequency and reaches a 4.20 GHz maximum turbo frequency within a 15W TDP, delivering responsive performance for office multitasking and video conferencing. This CPU specification is the primary factor in deciding whether the system meets your workload demands.
