Business-ready Latitude E5450

The Dell Latitude E5450 is a 14.0" business laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for daily office tasks. It ships with a fresh digital licence so the operating system activates automatically on first boot. The chassis is black and includes two USB ports for peripherals.

Intel Core i7 5th Gen dual-core at 2.90 GHz

The processor is an Intel Core i7 5th Gen dual-core running at 2.90 GHz, which determines whether the laptop can handle your workload. It provides enough speed for document editing, web browsing and light multitasking. Buyers who need more cores or higher clock speeds for rendering or heavy compilation should look elsewhere.

8 GB DDR3 with 16 GB ceiling and 512 GB SSD

Installed memory is 8 GB DDR3 across two slots, expandable to 16 GB maximum for additional headroom. The 512 GB SSD stores the operating system and a large volume of business files with fast access times. Users who require more than 16 GB of RAM or multiple terabytes of local storage will find the limits restrictive.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.90 GHz i7 dual-core handle everyday office apps without lag?

The 5th-generation i7 dual-core at 2.90 GHz runs Windows 10 Pro and typical business software smoothly; 8 GB of DDR3 keeps multiple browser tabs and documents responsive.

What wireless standard does the 802.11a/b/g adapter actually support?

The built-in wireless card uses 802.11a/b/g, so it connects to compatible networks but does not support newer Wi-Fi protocols.

Can I add more memory later and how many slots are free?

Two DDR3 slots exist with a 16 GB maximum; the 8 GB already installed occupies one slot, leaving room for an additional module.
