Dell Latitude E6520 purpose

The Dell Latitude E6520 is a 15.6-inch business laptop built for professionals who need a durable Windows 10 Pro machine with a Trusted Platform Module 1.2 security chip. It suits office workers and students handling documents, email and web apps on a HD+ LED display. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

Intel Core i7-2620M processor

This model runs on an Intel Core i7-2620M dual-core processor with a 2.70 GHz clock speed and 6 MB L3 cache, paired with 16 GB of DDR3 memory. The 256 GB SATA SSD provides the primary storage for the operating system and applications. The integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics handle the 15.6-inch HD backlit LED panel.

Thermals and power in daily use

The 2.5-inch SATA SSD has no moving parts, which helps keep heat and noise lower than a mechanical drive during typical office workloads. The DVD-RW optical drive adds some acoustic activity only when reading or writing discs. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment.
