Built for Field Work

The Dell Latitude Rugged 5420 is a 14.0 inch FHD touch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes an integrated webcam, Bluetooth, and optional LTE connectivity for mobile professionals.

Rugged Design Means Few Surprises

The chassis is sealed against dust and moisture, so internal access is limited to the removable PCIe storage bay and SIM card slot. Most ports are protected by covers; forcing a cable past a cover can damage the seal. The optional stylus and handle are separate accessories that attach without tools.

Check Power and Mounting First

Verify that your vehicle dock or desk mount matches the 347mm width and 244.5mm depth before ordering. The unit weighs 2.22kg starting weight, so confirm the mount’s load rating. Ensure your 12V or 24V vehicle supply can deliver the required current through the barrel connector.
