The Dell PowerEdge R430 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2650v3 ten-core processor at 2.3GHz with 48GB of DDR4 memory in a 1U chassis. Three 1.2TB 7.2K SAS drives connect through a PERC H330 RAID controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. A 550W redundant power supply and four 1GbE ports complete the baseline configuration.

The twelve DIMM slots and eight 2.5-inch hot-plug bays give room to grow memory toward the 384GB maximum and storage toward the 16TB ceiling.
