Questions about this item

Do I need a separate Thunderbolt 3 dock to use both USB-C ports for displays?

No, the two Thunderbolt 3 ports and the two USB-C 3.1 ports each carry DisplayPort video so you can drive external monitors directly without a dock.

Will my older USB-A peripherals work with the USB-C 3.1 and Thunderbolt 3 ports?

Yes, use a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable; the ports support USB 3.1 data speeds for legacy devices.

How can I confirm the 4K touch panel is running at its native 3840 x 2160 resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the resolution slider shows 3840 x 2160 as the recommended setting for the built-in display.
