USB-C to Slim Tip Converter

This Dell adapter converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a Slim Tip rectangle connector for compatible ThinkPad and Lenovo Yoga laptops. It contains a built-in PD smart chip and supports power delivery levels of 100W, 90W, 60W and 40W. The aluminium alloy housing provides corrosion resistance and heat dissipation. No data transfer is supported through this device.

Replaces Original Power Bricks

The converter replaces bulky proprietary chargers with a compact 3.4 L x 2.8 W x 0.95 H centimetre dongle weighing 0.009 kilograms. It is worth adopting when you already own a USB-C PD charger capable of 20V output and a PD-rated USB-C to USB-C cable. The adapter will not function with RavPower or Apple PD chargers, nor with any PD power bank.

Travellers With Compatible PD Gear

This suits users who carry a qualifying USB-C PD wall charger and cable and want to charge listed ThinkPad T, X, E, G, Z and X1 Carbon or X1 Yoga models. Buyers who need data connectivity through the USB-C port should look elsewhere. Anyone without a 20V PD charger and matching cable cannot use this converter.
