Bedroom sunrise alarm clock

The DreamSky DS236 is a mains-powered clock radio designed for bedside use. It combines a digital FM tuner, Bluetooth audio streaming and a simulated sunrise lamp in one compact unit. The 10 to 480 minute sleep timer lets music or radio fade out automatically. Time synchronises with a paired phone over Bluetooth to remove manual setting.

FM reception and USB charging

A long external antenna feeds the digital FM radio for clear station pickup through the built-in speaker. Volume and brightness dimmer controls adjust output to suit the room. An integrated USB port supplies power for charging a phone or other small device overnight. The unit measures 6.6 by 1.5 by 6.9 inches and weighs .671 kilograms.

Upgrades basic clock radios

This model replaces simple alarm clocks that only beep or play a single radio station. The 20 selectable sunrise brightness levels and 0 to 60 minute dawn duration create a gradual wake-up that a standard buzzer cannot. Buyers who need internet radio, weather alerts or battery backup will not find those functions here.
