Ready-to-use two-pack walkie-talkies

This Wishouse New 388 pair arrives new with six AA rechargeable batteries and a dual-head USB charging cable so children can start talking straight away. The radios operate on 22 preset channels across the 462.5500-462.7250 MHz and 467.5625-467.7125 MHz bands. An integrated flashlight and voice-operated transmission add convenience for indoor games or outdoor exploring. Water-resistant housing helps the units survive splashes and rough handling.

Families wanting simple push-to-talk fun

The set suits parents buying a first radio kit for children aged roughly three to twelve who need easy volume control, a rugged grip and hands-free VOX mode. It is less suited for users who require licensed GMRS power output, removable antenna options or extended range beyond open-area line-of-sight. Buyers needing waterproof submersion ratings or advanced privacy-code customisation should look at dedicated outdoor radios.

22 preset channels on FRS/GMRS frequencies

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed 22-channel layout covering 462.5500-462.7250 MHz and 467.5625-467.7125 MHz with voice-operated transmission. This channel count and frequency plan determine whether the radios can legally and practically share spectrum with other family sets or campground users. Power is fixed at 3.6 volts from the included rechargeable cells.

Questions about this item

How do I reset the New 388 walkie talkie if it stops responding?

Remove and reinsert the six AA rechargeable batteries, power it on, then hold POWER to turn it off. While off, hold PTT and MENU together, then press POWER; when channel 01 appears the reset is complete.

What maintenance will the rechargeable batteries need over time?

The pack includes six AA rechargeable cells charged via the dual-head USB cable; replace them when they no longer hold a full charge after repeated cycles.

What limits range first during continuous use on the 462.5500–462.7250 MHz band?

Battery depletion triggers auto-sleep to conserve power, so runtime ends before the 22-channel GMRS signal fades in open terrain.
