ECS LIVA Z Plus Mini PC with Core i5-7200U

This ECS EliteGroup LIVA Z Plus is a compact desktop computer built around a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7200U dual-core processor running at 2.70 GHz with 3 MB Smart Cache. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, and the 65 W power supply is included.

Suited for office work.

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 drives one HDMI and one mini DisplayPort output for dual-display productivity. Connectivity covers 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet, plus three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port and a headset jack. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, internal drive bays or a higher-core-count CPU should consider other form factors.

64 GB DDR4 SODIMM memory installed

The system arrives with 64 GB of DDR4 SODIMM RAM already fitted, a capacity that determines how many applications and browser tabs stay responsive simultaneously. No other memory type or form factor is compatible with this platform.

Questions about this item

Can the 64GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The system already holds 64GB of DDR4 SODIMM RAM, which is the maximum capacity supported by the Intel Core i5-7200U memory controller.

What limits performance first when the i5-7200U runs at 3.10 GHz continuously?

The 65W power supply and the mini PC's compact thermal envelope cap sustained turbo speeds, so the processor throttles before the 512GB NVMe SSD or the integrated Intel HD 620 graphics become the bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the LIVA Z Plus get during all-day operation?

The 65W adapter and fan-cooled chassis keep the 2.70 GHz dual-core CPU near 45 °C under typical load, with fan noise staying at a low office-friendly level.
