Mini PC for everyday computing

The ECS LIVA Z Plus is a compact desktop built around a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7200U dual-core processor running at 2.70GHz with a turbo up to 3.10GHz. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. This configuration suits general office work, web browsing and media playback in space-constrained environments.

Capacity and headroom

The 8GB DDR4 SODIMM handles typical multitasking with several browser tabs and productivity apps simultaneously. The 512GB NVMe drive provides fast boot and application load times while storing a moderate local file library. Demanding creative workloads or large datasets will exceed the integrated Intel HD 620 graphics and dual-core CPU headroom.

Connectivity and display limits

Video output is delivered through one HDMI port and one mini DisplayPort, driving two external displays from the integrated graphics. Wired networking uses a Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 jack, while wireless relies on 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Peripheral connections include three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port and a headset combo jack.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.70 GHz i5-7200U and its three USB 3.0 ports keep up with my existing 1080p monitor and wired keyboard?

The integrated Intel HD 620 graphics drive a 1080p display over HDMI or mini DisplayPort, and the three USB 3.0 ports plus one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port accept standard keyboards, mice and other peripherals without adapters.

How can I confirm the 8 GB DDR4 memory and 512 GB NVMe SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Settings > System > About to see the installed 8 GB DDR4 RAM, then open File Explorer and verify the 512 GB NVMe SSD appears as the C: drive with the correct capacity.

Does the 65 W power adapter and HDMI cable ship in the box, or must I buy them separately?

The 65 W power adapter is included; an HDMI or mini DisplayPort cable for the monitor is not supplied and must be purchased separately.
