The EDUP YXwin SN225 is a compact bi-directional HDMI switch that routes signals between two sources and one display, or one source and two displays, without requiring external power. It suits home-theatre users who want to toggle a console, streaming stick and PC on a single TV, or presenters who need to send a laptop signal to either of two monitors. Only one output is active at a time, so simultaneous dual-screen use is not supported.

Aluminium chassis and push-button selection

A solid aluminium-alloy body provides shielding and durability for daily switching. The unit draws power from the connected HDMI cables, so no mains adapter or USB cable is needed. A single button cycles the active port within one second, and an LED indicates which input or output is live. Standard AWG26 HDMI cables up to five metres are supported on each port.

10.2 Gbps bandwidth limits resolution to 4K@30Hz

The switch passes 10.2 Gbps, enabling 1080p, 3D and 4K x 2K at 30 Hz with HD audio. Higher refresh rates such as 4K@60Hz or HDR metadata require more bandwidth than this interface provides. Buyers needing 4K@60Hz, variable refresh rate or simultaneous multi-display output should consider a powered matrix or a higher-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 device instead.
