Compact USB-C Power Adapter Cable

The eForChina USB-C to Square Power Adapter Cable converts a USB-C source into the larger square power port used by certain ThinkPad, ThinkBook and Xiaoxin laptops. It is intended for owners of those devices who need a lightweight way to charge from a USB-C charger or power bank.

17 cm Length and 12 g Weight

At about 17 cm long and weighing roughly 12 g, the cable adds minimal bulk to a travel kit and reaches a nearby power source without excess slack. The short run keeps voltage drop low for the power levels these laptops require, but it cannot span the distance to a wall outlet across a room.

USB-C Source Limitation

The adapter passes only the power that the connected USB-C charger or port can deliver; it does not increase voltage, current or wattage beyond the source's own rating. Laptops that demand more power than the USB-C supply provides will charge slowly or not at all, and the cable carries no data lines for peripherals or video.

Questions about this item

Will the 17 cm cable reach the rectangular power port on my older ThinkPad without strain?

The adapter is about 17 cm long and weighs roughly 12 g, so it adds minimal bulk between the USB-C charger and the square port on the laptop.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering power to my ThinkBook after plugging it in?

The laptop's charging indicator should light up and the battery icon will show it is charging once the USB-C source and square connector are both seated.

Does the package include a USB-C power brick or only the 17 cm adapter cable?

Only the adapter cable is supplied; a compatible USB-C charger must be provided separately.
