The EN-Labs 11-001-245 expands a single motherboard PWM header into four fan connections using a 30 cm black-sleeved cable. It targets PC builders who need to run several case or CPU coolers from one header without adding a separate controller. The hub includes a self-adhesive backing so the small PCB can be secured out of sight inside the chassis. Power is drawn from a standard Molex connector supplying 12 VDC.

PWM control limited to one speed signal per header

All four fans receive the same PWM duty cycle, so they spin at identical speeds when four-pin models are attached. Three-pin fans connected to the three case-fan ports run at full voltage continuously because they lack PWM input. Only the dedicated CPU-fan port passes a tachometer signal back to the motherboard; the other three ports do not report RPM, so monitoring software will show a reading for just one fan.

Replaces daisy-chained splitters

Builders who previously used multiple Y-cables or a standalone hub can consolidate wiring with this single 1-to-4 assembly. The upgrade is worthwhile when cable routing space is tight and uniform speed across all fans is acceptable. It does not suit setups that require independent speed curves per fan or RPM feedback from every connected cooler.
