This TX3 3-pin splitter connects two case fans to a single motherboard or power-supply header. It is built for builders who need an extra fan connection without adding a fan controller. The cable carries 12 V or 5 V power to both fans from one source. It suits systems with limited 3-pin headers.

24 AWG copper with braided sleeve

The 10 inch cable uses 24 AWG copper conductors wrapped in a black net-jacket sleeve. One female TX3 connector plugs into the header; two male TX3 connectors attach to the fans. Only one male header carries all three pins for speed feedback, the other carries two pins for power only. The sleeve protects the wires during routing.

One header reports speed, the other does not

Because the second male header lacks the tachometer wire, only the first fan reports its speed to the motherboard. PWM 4-pin fans are not supported on either connector. Builders who need independent speed control for both fans cannot use this splitter. The 10 inch length suits typical case layouts but may fall short in large enclosures.
