A 5V AURA RGB hub expands one motherboard header to ten ports for synchronous fan and lighting control, includes a 1ft extension cable and Molex power lead, and mounts with an adhesive pad
This hub expands a single 5V AURA header on the motherboard to ten ports, letting you drive up to 10 addressable RGB fans or strips in sync. It is built for builders who use 5V AURA-compatible boards from major vendors and need more headers than the board provides.
The hub itself draws no extra power beyond what the motherboard header supplies, typically 15 W at 5 V and 3 A. If connected devices dim, the included Molex cable can feed 5 V directly from the PSU to relieve the header.
A 3M adhesive pad on the underside secures the hub inside the case without screws. The package supplies a 1 ft female-to-female RGB extension cable and a 1 ft Molex power cable, so keep runs under 3.3 ft for best signal integrity. Not compatible with 12V RGB headers.

Connect the hub to the motherboard 5V 3-pin header matching the arrow mark to the 5V pin, attach the included Molex cable to the PSU for extra power, and use the sticky pad to mount it; the step often missed is aligning the arrow on every plug with the 5V marking on both motherboard and hub.
No routine maintenance is required; if LED strips or fans become dim or flicker, check that total cable runs stay under 3.3 ft and that the Molex power connection remains secure, otherwise the hub itself has no user-serviceable parts.
The motherboard 5V header is typically rated for 15W (5V/3A); exceeding that causes dimming, so the included Molex power cable must be used to avoid the header overload limit.
