Mounts a 2.5" SATA drive in a PCIe slot using a non-conductive bracket
The EN-Labs PCIBR25SSD converts a vacant PCI-E expansion slot into a mounting point for a 2.5" SATA hard drive or SSD. It targets builders whose front drive bays are full or who need extra storage in compact PCs, servers or rack-mount units.
The bracket slides into any standard PCI-E slot using a non-conductive connector that carries no electrical signals. Data and power must still reach the drive through separate SATA cables routed inside the chassis, so cable length and motherboard port placement become the practical limits.
A rigid polycarbonate cradle holds the 2.5" device securely while the integral metal riser bracket screws to the case rear panel for vibration-resistant mounting. The tool-free drive attachment and single-slot profile keep installation quick, but the assembly occupies a full-height slot and blocks adjacent airflow in dense builds.

The single model PCIBR25SSD supports any 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD, so there is no capacity or version choice to make.
The plastic PCIe frame carries no electrical signals; it only secures the 2.5" drive mechanically while the drive's own SATA cable connects to the motherboard.
The bracket itself has no data interface; it simply holds a 2.5" SATA drive in a PCIe slot, so the SATA link speed is determined entirely by the drive and motherboard port.
