VIA VL805 Chipset

The card uses the VIA VL805 controller to provide native USB 3.0 connectivity. Each port supports up to 5 Gbps data transfer and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. Individual over-current and short-circuit protection is fitted to every port. Windows 8 and 10 work driver-free; Windows 7, Vista and XP need a driver. Linux is not supported.
