Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 outdoor access point with pole-mounting brackets, PoE injector, 1.5 m Ethernet cable and 1.8 m grounding cable
The EnGenius Technologies EOC655 is a dual-band wireless access point built for outdoor broadband deployments. It operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies using the Wi-Fi 6 standard to serve compatible clients in open-air environments.
The unit receives power and data through a single Ethernet link via the supplied PoE injector, removing the need for a separate outdoor power outlet. A 1.5 metre Cat5e cable and 1.8 metre grounding cable are included, and the pole-mounting brackets secure the housing to a mast for stable exposure to the elements.
The bundled PoE injector with AC power cable delivers both electricity and network connectivity over one run, while the grounding cable helps protect the radio from static discharge. Together with the pre-terminated Ethernet cable and mounting hardware, the package provides every physical component required for a complete outdoor installation.

Mount the unit with the supplied pole-mounting brackets, connect the 1.5 m Cat5e cable to the PoE injector, attach the 1.8 m grounding cable to a proper earth point, then power the injector. The grounding step is the one most installers skip.
The sealed outdoor enclosure has no user-serviceable parts. Plan to inspect the pole brackets, the 1.5 m Ethernet cable and the 1.8 m grounding cable annually for corrosion or UV damage; replace any degraded section to maintain the Wi-Fi 6 link.
The dual-band 802.11ax radio is rated for 2 Gbit/s aggregate throughput. Under continuous full-load traffic the wireless medium saturates before the wired PoE link, so airtime contention becomes the first bottleneck.
