SDI to HDMI conversion with loopout

The ESTONE OZH5 converts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals to HDMI so professional cameras and broadcast gear can connect to standard monitors or recorders. A loop-through SDI output passes the original signal to a second SDI display without degradation. The unit handles bit rates up to 2.970 Gbps and auto-detects the incoming format. Power comes from an included DC 5 V 1 A adapter.

Replacing a single-output adapter

If your current converter only offers HDMI or only offers SDI, this unit adds the second path so both a consumer display and a professional SDI monitor can show the same source simultaneously. The upgrade is worthwhile when you need simultaneous confidence monitoring on different display types without running a distribution amplifier. It does not serve workflows that require HDMI-to-SDI conversion or resolutions above 1080p.

Sustained signal stability

The aluminium enclosure acts as a passive heatsink, keeping the converter stable during continuous 1080p 60 Hz operation. Supported frame rates include 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz for progressive signals and 50 or 60 Hz for interlaced 1080i. The loop-through SDI output maintains signal integrity over long cable runs at the full 2.97 Gbps data rate without frame drops.
