HDMI to RCA converter for legacy displays

This ESTONE adapter converts an HDMI source into composite video and analogue audio for older televisions, VCRs or DVD recorders. It accepts HDMI input up to 1080p at 60 Hz and outputs standard-definition CVBS signals at 480i or 576i. A 3.5 mm jack provides stereo audio alongside the three RCA connectors. The unit is unidirectional and cannot convert RCA back to HDMI.

Check your source and display before ordering

Verify that your source device has a standard HDMI output and does not require HDCP handshake beyond version 1.3. The converter needs a free USB port or 5 V USB power adapter to operate; the required cable and adapter are included. Ensure your target display accepts composite NTSC or PAL input and that you can select the correct format with the built-in switch. Mobile phones are not supported as sources.
