The JTECH-AE4KA extracts audio from an incoming HDMI signal and sends it to an external sound system via Optical and RCA outputs while passing video to a display. It is designed for users connecting laptops, Blu-ray players or gaming consoles to speakers or receivers that lack HDMI inputs.

4K 60Hz pass-through with EDID control

Video passes through at up to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0, with 1080P and 720P also supported. A three-position EDID switch selects TV, 2CH or 5CH modes to match the source output to the connected audio system. The Optical output carries stereo and 5.1CH audio, while RCA provides stereo output.

Powered operation with ARC support

The unit includes a power adapter for stable operation. ARC functionality extracts audio from a compatible display through the Optical output only; eARC is not supported. Simultaneous Optical and RCA output requires the incoming audio format to be compatible with both connections.
